Select League Has Started!!!
The 2008 Spring Season is underway. Please review the rules in the Referee Locker Room for the difference between the Youth In-House and Youth Select Divisions. Please make sure you know which division you are doing when you’re on the ice. (Check with the scorekeeper). Also, make sure you call everything!! A lot of players think that just because it’s the “Spring Season”, they can play without the USA Hockey Rules. If the same player is always “taking” penalties, sit him down for a 10-Min. Misconduct. Send the message.
Helmets & Mouth Guards
Please make sure All Youth Players have chin
straps and mouth guards! All Adult Players must have a chin strap in place. Ask
them to leave the ice until it is corrected. And no, a piece of tape will not
do. Remember :All
youth players, except for squirts and below, must wear there mouth guards. Ask
them to leave until they have one. Really check the Select players!!!
Wallet Lockers
The wallet lockers are being put to good
use. Please make sure you return the locks to the front counter after your
assignments. Do not leave the locks hanging on the lockers overnight!
Memos
If you haven’t looked at
the memo board in the referee room in sometime, please take a few minutes to
review them.
Division Rules
I will be updating the Division Rules pages
this week, please review them.
On-line Game Reports
I will be working with the web guy to try out an
“On-Line” Game Report. The only concern is that the officials’ must complete
this in a timely manner. Once we get it going, I will work out the
particulars’.
